The temple is currently undergoing some renovations or restorations so it did take away from some of how impressive the place overall can be. I only stopped by to see the sights and it was very interesting to see devout Buddhists visit and pray quite fervently. A very informative brochure is provided to visitors and those interested can decide to experience life in the temple via the "Temple stay" offering.

Beautiful Buddhist temple in the economic center of Seoul. Very welcoming!! Tea shop and bathrooms are readily available. Great place to go for New Years if you don't want to get stuck in the enormous downtown crowd.
