As beautiful as it's educational. Everything is written in various languages, so no worries if you can't speak Korean! Make sure you know what you can and can't bring in. I had totally forgotten... more »

This museum is a really beautiful building and the grounds were scenic but honestly the content was not super interesting. If you are into old bowls, knives, and other small artifacts, this would be a great place to spend a few hours but after the first couple exhibit rooms we had more than had enough. If you have some extra time it's worth taking a quick walk through, especially since it's free, but it was definitely not my cup of tea. My favourite part was the pagoda outside.

The museum is HUGE! I recommend going there for a whole day or at least for a half of the day! Bring comfy shoes also because the place is quite big! The entrance is free but if you want to see temporal exhibitions you can buy a ticket. Really interesting to see the history of this country and its people.
