You can fly from Jeju to Busan in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. April in Busan sees daily highs of 22°C and lows of 10°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

Gyeongju

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Get out of town with these interesting Gyeongju side-trips: Eunhaesa Temple (in Yeongcheon), Gatbawi Rock (in Gyeongsan) and Gukchaebosang Memorial Park (in Daegu). There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Bulguksa Temple, look for all kinds of wild species at Gyeongju Bird Park, examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum, and contemplate the long history of Cheomseongdae Observatory.

Drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. When traveling from Busan in April, plan for slightly colder days in Gyeongju, with highs around 14°C, while nights are a bit warmer with lows around 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to drive to Sokcho.

Sokcho

Tourism in Sokcho mostly revolves around the local national park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Sokcho: Baekdamsa Temple (in Inje-gun) and Yangyang-gun (Naksansa Temple & Osaek Jujeongol Valley). Spend the 4th (Wed) exploring nature at Seoraksan National Park. Chuncheon

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.
