Seoul

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Explore Seoul's surroundings by going to Suwon (Hwaseong Fortress & Suwon IPark Museum of Art). Pack the 29th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, shop like a local with Myeongdong Shopping Street, take in the spiritual surroundings of Jongmyo Shrine, and take a stroll through Insadong.

For maps, reviews, and more tourist information, use the Seoul trip itinerary maker website.

If you are flying in from Chile, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In January, daily temperatures in Seoul can reach 1°C, while at night they dip to -7°C.
