Amway Center, Orlando

4.6
The Amway Center is a major sports arena and entertainment venue in Orlando, Florida, located in the Downtown area of the city. It is part of Downtown Orlando Master Plan 3: a plan that also involves improvements to Camping World Stadium and the completion of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The arena is home to the Orlando Magic of the NBA, the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, the Orlando Predators of the National Arena League, and hosted the 2012 NBA All-Star Game and the 2015 ECHL All-Star Game.

Amway Center hosted the rounds of 64 and 32 games of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2014 and 2017. On January 14, 2013, the Arena Football League's Board of Directors voted to award ArenaBowl XXVI to Orlando in the summer of 2013. It hosted UFC on Fox: dos Anjos vs. Cerrone 2 on December 19, 2015.

  • We have been here several times now, both to watch the Orlando Magic and the Orlando Solar Bears (lets go Bears!), and weve had a fantastic experience each and every time. It is about 30-35 minutes....  more »
  • Good location, the arena is big, seats are confortable, impeccable service! Food is overpriced. Over all is a nice place.  more »

  • The lighting they did for the concert was amazing. There were times that I was more impressed with the lights than I was the music. It was fairly easy to navigate around the stadium. Prices for food and drinks were high, like you might expect. I think it was $10 for a Wicked hard seltzer water for example. What made me give it a 4 star instead of 5 is the seating. The seats are uncomfortable and run on the smaller side. The person who sat next to me was pretty large and they were practically sitting on my lap the entire time. If the seats had just been a tiny bit wider, it wouldn't have been an issue. So if you get claustrophobic, feel self-conscious about how much room you take up in a seat, or just don't want the risk of your neighbor sitting on your lap -- maybe consider a different venue if possible. That being said, it really was a nice light show. Pictures can't express.
  • Definitely one of the better multi-use venues I’ve been in. They have multiple entrances. Featuring bag checks, and metal detectors. There’s the usual issue with bathrooms but they handle it rather well and transition some of the men’s restrooms to women’s to accommodate different events.
