Tours To CSI: The Experience
CSI: The Experience Reviews
Visited here March 2014. I think it has since closed but not sure. It is a fun way to spend an hour but the experience is fool proof. It is impossible to not solve the crime the way it set out, I... more »
This attraction is closed permanently and there are foreclosure notices on the doors. No contact details for those looking for refunds. Spoke to local businesses and they said they were open one day..... more »
Not worth the money. The first crime scene "A House Collided" was wrong. It was missing some important clues that would be helpful if you were trying to solve the crime. On top of that, it was too dark to see inside the car. The worse part was the customer service. When we first arrived, we asked the front desk about getting the crime sheets for the other scenes. We were told we would get them once we finished the first one. So we paid our $20 and went through the exhibit. We finished and went back to the front to get the next crime sheet. The guy we spoke to was gone and the lady at the front told us it would cost more. When we told her that we were not told it would cost more, she pointed to a TINY sign at the front that showed it cost $5 more per case. It's an interesting concept that would be fun if it were more interactive and had an actual accurate crime scene to match the photos and clues you have to investigate in the lab. And it was definitely not worth the $20 for one scene. I love criminal investigation, but I would never do this exhibit again.
This was a fun experience. For an hour and $18 (as a Florida resident) we got to explore a crime scene and learn about the investigation process. Don't listen to what everyone else here says about the computer solving the mystery for you- you are able to explore and make your own observations and conclusions, but you go to the computer to investigate further and verify that your thinking was correct. Lots of cool information throughout and you get to see how the simplest clues can yield the biggest changes in the investigation. My friend who is a biotechnology major and has taken multiple courses in chemistry, biology, anatomy, and physics learned things in each part of the lab and thought it was a great experience (and scientifically valid). The staff was extremely friendly and there was no wait to enter. We also enjoyed the pictures and had a great time overall! :)
