Dead Lizard Brewing Company, Orlando

#5 of 9 in Breweries & Distilleries in Central Florida
Like many great ideas, Dead Lizard Brewing Company had its humble beginnings in a garage. Richard, a third generation brewer, having first brewed with his father and brother (Dell and Scott) over 25 years ago, had been sharing his brews with co-workers, friends, and family for years. His passion for brewing and their demand for his beers fueled the transformation of nearly every inch of his garage into an elaborate home brewing facility with multiple fermenters that were nearly always full with some new recipe. This went on for years until that fateful day when his wife said, “Hey, why don’t we just start a brewery?”

Today, DLBC is a family owned and operated micro-brewery with a 10BBL Brewhouse and a Tap Room featuring 10 different DLBC beers. In addition to our Brewery, the Dine family also has a family owned Artesian Hops farm which supplies it with Fresh Hops for our Harvest Beers

  • Stuck in the middle of an industrial park, but well worth finding. Super welcoming staff and outstanding beers. If we lived in Orlando, we'd hang out here all the time.  more »

  • We went to the taproom on 5/18/2019. I had the Mutatiosaurus Pale Ale. My wife had a bottle of cider. The taproom is great, happy to have popcorn and ample seating. I found my Pale Ale to be very good. We could not find a beer for my wife, she is very picky about beer, so she had the cider. All and all, a good taproom, good beer and a great logo!
  • We chose this place because of the name. Glad we did. They have a good selection for all beer drinkers. I personally liked the key lime. It has a great laid back atmosphere and the bar tender was super attentive. If you are a beer drinker and in the Orlando area, its definitely worth a visit.
