Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Reviews
I went to go see Aladdin here and I have ti say, it’s probably my favorite theatre/performing arts center I’ve ever been too. It was very clean and the staff was nice. Highly recommend this place! more »
This venue is beautiful, very clean and has nice service. 2 drinks and a bottle of water was $48. Yes $48! Easy to get around with lots of team members to help guide you. more »
This was our first time at Dr. Phillips and definitely won't be our last. The venue is beautiful and clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They also keep traffic flowing really well during intermission and after the show ends. The valet staff was very nice as well. They even asked us if we needed any directions when they gave us the car back. Overall it was a really pleasant experience seeing a show at Dr. Phillips. This is by far the friendliest and nicest venue I've been to in the state.
Acoustics are tremendous. Every seat has a good view. So many bathroom stalls that there's no waiting (even for the ladies!) Perfectly clean. Lively lounging areas to relax before the show and during intermission. Security was efficient and speedy. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. The only downside for me was the design of the auditorium itself. The outside is fabulous and awe- inspiring. The foyer is beautiful. The auditorium - not so much. It looked like a combination of circus tent ceiling, construction site columns, Roman Colosseum-style blocks of stone on the walls. The result was not beautiful to me.
