Hollywood Drive-in Golf Reviews
This was a very fun, very interesting course. He had to play the haunted course due to the Alien course not be open at the time. That would be my only compliant due to the second course being closed..... more »
We had the best time mini golfing even during these crazy COVID-19 times! Staff were EXTREMELY friendly and clear about social distancing directions! They also were cleaning the holes frequently... more »
Was visiting from Michigan and my brother brought me and my family here to play some mini golf. We thought is was a great idea and after dropping over $100 on 7 of us to play we wanted to take our kids to the restroom. The restrooms were closed but the workers at the ticket booth said we could go to the movie theater and use theirs. We were told they would remember us and we could reenter through the exit. On the way back in we were confronted by the “manager” Lulu. She started yelling at us saying we had to go through the entrance. When my brother tried explaining that we were told my the employees it was ok to reenter that way, she continued to yell at us saying she didn’t care what the employees said. When I tried to explain to her what was going on, she started screaming at us that if we didn’t like it she would call security. This made my 6 year old start crying. I went to the ticket booth asking for the manager and Lulu came yelling that she was the manager and if I didn’t calm down she would call security. She was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. We went to guest services and was told that there wasn’t much they could do since they rent out the space to the mini gold company. Extremely disappointed in this place. We won’t ever be back again. UPDATE: so the GM reached out to me and apologized for the situation. He refunded us, gave us free passes and said he would talk to his employees about how our situation was handled. I appreciate him reaching out to me.
Good golf, some challenging campy themed holes filled with bad puns, and a fun atmosphere prevail at this course. My initial impression wasn’t great however ... we were waiting for others in our party to buy tickets for our group and the staff wouldn’t let my son use the restroom until we purchased tickets... The young cashier that took our order was not accommodating or helpful. When my son was injured by a missed swing towards the end of the course however, the young cashier was gone and the rest of the staff were just exceptional! They called for a medic to make sure he was ok, offered ice and made us feel welcome. It was the greeting I would have liked at the beginning, but they nailed it when it mattered! Special thanks to Paul for his warm customer service!
