Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa Reviews
My mom, sister, and I went in to Serenity on our most recent trip to Orlando and loved it. We had everything between the three of us from massages to manicures to pedicures. We all did a different... more »
I called from the Westgate Lakes Resort villa we were in, and booked for Monday with Alicia. I got the BEST deep-tissue massage I've ever experienced. She's an expert at locating all the knots... more »
Pros- check-in was a breeze! Karen was really great!! They have a lot of amenities 7 pools, hot tubs, basketball, mini golf, bowling, the works! We stayed in building 60, which had a beautiful view of the lake and Disney’s Magic Kingdom park fireworks at night. The Draft bar and grill was amazing! And they have good wings. Parking is a little crazy but we managed to find parking spots. Cons- housekeeping wasn’t the best, the first day the room was cleaned and I think it was the fourth day that we were there whoever cleaned the room did an outstanding job! The other days was blah! They didn’t make the bed, they missed the bathroom trash, one day they didn’t clean the room at all. The timeshare tour was WELL over 90 minutes, and they are really pushy. The lady we had was really nice up until it was time to give her our answer then she became a little snappy, but we didn’t care our answer stayed the same.
This was a good small resort. The rooms were absolutely amazing. The view we had from the six floor was fantastic. We could see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom every night. The only issue that we had was if you came back at later in the evening you had to park up to a couple hundred yards away from your specific building. The kids activities were good. The pools were nice and warm. Mini golf was quite fun. The food was overpriced from the deli and at the restaurant compared to what you could get delivered from a regular pizza joint or restaurants.
