Survey the streets of Buenos Aires from a lighthouse atop Palacio Barolo, a 22-storey building designed by Italian architect Mario Palanti. The landmark, which at the time of its construction in 1923 was the tallest in the city, now houses shops, offices, and studios. Constructed in tribute to Dante's "Divine Comedy," the building features a concrete facade and three distinct sections representing heaven, purgatory, and hell (we assume the offices are in the "hell" section). Climb to the top of the iconic palace to enjoy dramatic views over the city. Make Palacio Barolo a centerpiece of your Buenos Aires vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Buenos Aires visit planner.

Roman, Gothic, Indo fusion. Worth the stride for couple of hours and enjoy the sunset if you time it. Interesting stories to listen.

A magnificent example of art déco architecture, a building inspired to Dante's comedy, a collection of technological feats (such as a projector capable to exchange messages with Montevideo..).. definitely a visit worth its cost. I'd like to visit it again by night.

It's definitely a tourist trap. You either have to book a tour or a really overpriced, fixed menu to be able to go to bar at the top of the tower. The view is great but if you sit inside, you can barely see it since the windows are tiny.
