Beautiful oasis in the city. Rhododendrons mostly past their best when I visited but still a riot of colour all around. A lovely lake within the park and lots of seating areas. Even if the place is busy there are lots of quiet corners where one can escape the city for a while. Must be a wonderful place to while away the hours in the summer. One of the nicest parks I've seen in Europe. 😀

Very beautiful place for whole family. Sure you cannot find great food. But overall is good to have in Hamburg place. Kids can spend whole day here. Area is quite large and all green. Couple of hours of fresh air? For sure it's your choice
