  • It is a short drive from Agias Triadas and the walk in from the parking lot is pretty, but don’t be late because they strictly adhere to the closing times listed. We were less than five minutes late.....  more

  • This was a beautiful place to visit. I'm neither religious nor spiritual but can respect the devotion of others. And it was interesting seeing the monks (?) at their religious work. The landscape around the monastery looked exactly like I pictured Jesus's time in the wilderness and they made a little oasis within. Don't wear shorts or sleeveless tops or they make you wear a pink modesty skirt - which my partner, son and stepson had to do. Which was hilarious, frankly.
  • it s possible to go done and reach a lovely (lonely) bay where boats were hidden in the past (forbidden to swim though). on the way, you will reach an old monastery. take good shoes, water (!!) and sun protection. (around 2-3 hours in total, better in the morning to avoid heat).
