Snail Farm and Fun, Tylissos

It’s a unique experience and highly recommended to visit the farm. The hosts are very friendly and eager to tell you everything about the snails and the other things around the farm. They are very sweet and we had a great time talking with them.

While driving through the mountains we saw signs that said “Snail Farm and Fun”… Naturally, we HAD to find out what the “and fun” could possibly be at a snail farm of all places. We were BLOWN AWAY - this was absolutely the highlight of our trip so far. We learned a TON about everything snail related, but the real treat was spending time getting to know Vaso and her husband Stavros. Their hospitality was world class, and we’re thankful for the knowledge gained and the friends made. We’ll be back every summer we spend in Crete!
