  • Seems like it's the one of the oldest churches in Bari. Not so big as San Nicola, but attractive anyway with its bell on top.

  • I was struck by this little church that I passed by by chance, only to find out later that it is Catholic of the Byzantine rite, I confess that it is a novelty for me.
  • 13th century church used by Catholics of the Byzantine rite. It is located at the beginning of the old city, near the Castle, near the parking lot. The Church is very beautiful, small, but beautiful with a single nave. On the left is the tombstone of Cecilia Carducci, a Bari noble who had patronage over the church and died in 1700, followed by a marble plutus. From the beautiful and classic colors of the Orthodox, the large wooden iconostasis with the cross above. If you succeed behind the altar, then behind the iconostasis), a beautiful canvas of the "Virgin of Platytera". The Church is always open, at least....When I was there the cleaning was in progress and my presence had a little "enraptured" the priest therefore....
