Constructed on the site of Monaco's first parish church, which was built in 1252, the cathedral was consecrated in 1875. Extremely beautiful church, with amazing architecture and artworks. Free entrance. Good to note that you need to cover your shoulders. Inside there were a lot of artwork, made in different centuries it seemed, but I could not tell because I don’t understand Latin. The clerestory windows were also beautiful.

Dating back to the 19th century, the Saint Nicholas Cathedral is a Romanesque church which sits next to the water in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
