Although small, Jardin des animalier carries a wide array of exotic animals from around the globe. Founded by Prince Rainier III in 1954, the zoo houses more than 50 species and over 250 individual animals. An good place to bring the kids, the zoo features reptiles, apes, monkeys, and exotic birds. Of particular interest are the hippopotamus, the black panther (one of Africa's deadliest animals), and the white tiger, a rare variation of the classic orange Bengal tiger. We had to pay entry for the garden it was about 6 euros per person if I am not mistaken. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, according to the website these animals are rescued or given to the garden...
