I hiked up the stairs path and down the road path. I think next time I'd stick to the road side because the stairs are SO HARD to climb...at least for me. Still I was proud to get to the top. Once.... more

I had a great time at this place. It was kinda windy when I went there, but it was still worth it. Great views of Seoul. I especially enjoyed those locks of different colors, like those in Paris...

Was an absolutely gorgeous day for visiting the Tower. It was so sunny and clear that when we reached the top we could see everything. The views are spectacular and I loved the added extra bonus of having place names written on the windows with how far away they were. Both my friend and I found the capital cities of our home countries. There is plenty to do around the base of the Tower as well. A few restaurants (although if you're Vegetarian you might struggle to find anything without meat), cafes and convenient stores for you to get food. Plenty of little craft and trinket stalls as well as a few local food stalls. I even got my portrait drawn and framed for 50,000₩ as a birthday gift to myself. I would also recommend couples to go visit. You can buy (or bring) a padlock which you can write a little message on and add it to the 1000s of other padlock that line the walkways and railings all around the Tower. It really is a beautiful sight to see. Plenty of aesthetic photo opportunities too if you're more about that Insta Life. Overall, I would totally recommend you put this on your list of places to visit in Korea.

I had a "speedy" experience while visiting this place because it's already late at night and I just manage to see things and do some window shopping inside the tower. Overall, this place is totally nice if you come in the day. At night, yes you can see night view from the tower (and it's really beautiful) but you gonna feel a bit rush because of the buses 😂 (unless you arrive at the place from 6pm). I only know you can go up there by bus, so of course you have to take the bus to go downtown. I really wish I could visit this place again :)
