Strasbourg — 2 nights

Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.Venture out of the city with trips to La Montagne des Singes (in Kintzheim), Little Venice (in Colmar) and Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg (in Orschwiller). There's much more to do: stop by La Petite France, make a trip to Gare de Strasbourg, walk around Parc de l'Orangerie, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg.
To find maps, photos, ratings, and other tourist information, you can read our Strasbourg trip planning website.
Expect a daytime high around 25°C in September, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
