Istanbul, Turkey to Tashkent is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Turkey Time (TRT) to Uzbekistan Standard Time (UZT), which is usually a 2 hour difference. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 16th (Fri) to allow time for the flight to Bukhara.
