The place where Cretan and Venetian cultures merged in the 13th century, Chania Town attracts throngs of tourists with its well-preserved medieval harbor.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chania Town: Rethymnon (Off-Road Tours, Historical and Folklore Museum of Rethymno, &more). In March in Chania Town, expect temperatures between 20°C during the day and 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) to allow time to take a shuttle to Heraklion.

Traveling by shuttle from Chania Town to Heraklion takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in March, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Mon) early enough to catch the flight back home.
