Create an itinerary including Yildiz Park
Meander through one of Istanbul's largest public parks at Yildiz Park, a historical site that was once part of the imperial garden of Yildiz Palace. Today, the green lawns host exotic flowers and old vegetation like oak, magnolia, and Judas trees. Walk, jog, or skate the paved pathways to a panoramic viewpoint of the Bosphorus, or have a picnic in the Cadir or Malta pavilions. Despite the popular trails, the large forest makes it easy to escape the crowds. Use our Istanbul trip builder app to add Yildiz Park and other attractions to your Istanbul vacation plans.

  • Beautiful park. It’s big, green and very nice designed. Locals are going there for picnic and relaxing. If you’re in Istanbul for more than a few days and you need some nature walk, I can highly recommend this park.
  • An ancient beautiful park. Recommend specially in spring when the trees bloom. Great for walk or picnic. There is also a parking space in the park, which hardly can be found at Beşiktaş province. There is a Jewelry museum which was closed at that time. You could visit and buy beautiful hand made plates at a small gallery, located next to the museum entrance as well.
