Create an itinerary including Cotswold Motoring Museum
Discover an extensive collection of motoring memorabilia and toys from the 20th century at Cotswold Motoring Museum. The museum features a large collection of vintage and classic cars and motorcycles, campers, and original enamel motoring signs. Listen for period music as you peruse photos and items from past eras, most notably the extensive toy collection. Housed in the museum is "Brum," from the popular BBC children's television series; you can make a brass-rubbing of the car as a souvenir. The museum also displays periodically changing motoring exhibitions. Don't be fooled by the appearance: The museum is much larger than it seems from the outside. • This museum packs in a lot within a medium floor plan - and had loads of cars, signs, and trinkets around, to where it was hard to know where to look! It was a very eclectic collection that included cars, motorcycles, caravans, bicycles, photos, toys, and more. There was really good signage that gave details on the car model, previous owners, key changes or tech, and a few jokes or quizzes throughout that gave a humorous or interactive touch. If you want a quick browse through allow around 30 minutes, though you could likely spend a few hours if wanting to look at the many items in detail. It's a very reasonable price so worth a brief browse if cars are of interest and you're nearby.
  • We haven't been here for 30 odd years, when our children were little. It was great more rooms have been added on with a lot of interesting exhibits. So much to see. A truly lovely little village museum and of course home to Little Brum. Great entry price too.
